Argentinosaurus huinculensis

argentinosaurus_huinculensis-sm

Well, I’m back at my desk and rearing to go. While I start  with a backlog of work, I’ll give you something sizeable to chew on: Argentinosaurus huinculensis. This mount is from the traveling exhibit on Argentinian dinosaurs which I caught in Frankfurt in Germany. More from that and other beasts soon. Click on the image for a larger res, and if you’d like the whopping full 6828×2590 original just ask.

nice panarama!

that guy is HUGE… how big did they render their reconstruction in total (roughtly)? there is a lot of different lengths they could have settled on.

I’ve been looking for the exact dimensions… the online overview says “app. 40 meter” or 131 feet.

Hi, Dave

Would you be so kind to send me the Argentinosaurus full 6828×2590 original? I’d like to post it at my site (URL above), calling for the building of a Natural History Museum in Sao Paulo.

Could you please also provide the copyright mention you’d like me to specify, as well as the URL to resend the visitors?

best

I’m a-clicking and a-clicking, and there is no bigger version. I guess you’ll have to email me the whole whopper then. :p
