very nice

i know the plagiosaurs tend to look like that, but i still chuckle at them… they’re salamanders that have been run over.

so is this guy for a specific project, or just because you can?

I actually got waylayed into Gerrothorax… this guy is about 70% Gerro and 30% Plagio… have to go back into that and make two distinct models.
This is for a pitch… part of a documentary concept. As always, everything comes piling on at once. I did a plateosaurus pose… have to get at least one illustration through to completion.

Edit: added my correction. Changed him into Gerrothorax; including plates and non-webbed feet (I assume as living sweet water ambhibians don’t really have them). Plagiosternum forhtcoming.

nice additions, he is definately a lot more IDable now!

good luck with the pitch!

i hear you on everything hitting at once… blogger delievered me with the most amazing, but overwhelming, surprise yesterday. traumador’s (my puppet’s) blog was featured in their blogs of note feature. i’d been considering pulling the plug on it, due to it not taking off. as of yesterday that’s not a concern!

however it adds another of those time management dilemma to my creative efforts, as i’m going to have to renew my energies on his blog now too.

Very cool pictures. Would it be o.k. if I use one of them in a blogpost on the science of Gerrothorax (with a link to this page and great thanks, of course)?
